Today Anna and Dave (the amazing couple I am staying with) took me to a place they themselves had never been, even though it was only a few minutes drive; Kauri Point Centennial Park and Chatswood Reserve.
I LOVED IT!
It was so beautiful and calming and seemed so far away from the roads and houses and just people in general.
We walked in to the forest from a side street from a quiet neighbourhood with big houses. And it did not look like much – sorry, I should have taken a picture of the entrance but I didn’t – but this forest continued to gradually grow the further we went in and eventually through the trees we could se glimpses of a cliff and few meters further a beach. Meanwhile the sky was clearing up and the sun was coming out, so everything just got better and better. The pictures i will add to this post will hopefully show you a little bit of how beautiful and peaceful this place was.
I just know that I could not stop smiling.
